You want the character to wear a red suit, but your generation comes out with a white suit. You are happy with everything BUT the color of the suit.

Solution: Generate + Storyboard: Line_Art_From_Image

Step 1: Under Generate, turn on Use storyboard, select Line_Art_from_Image (this mode allows the AI to follow the outline of your previous image, blinded to the original colors.)

Step 2: Drag and drop your previous image from generation history.

Step 3: Keep all the previous prompts, but make sure to say "red suit" instead of "white suit", generate. Viola! Here's your new image.

Another example. From white suit to yellow and pink suit.

Question: It worked but the quality of the image is worse!

Remember to upscale with a small-ish variation strength. I recommend 0.3.

It's not working for me!

Double check if your have other color words misguiding the AI. Remove them. It's possible that some character models like to draw a certain color. Put it in negative prompt. Try again.

It's usually effective. If after a few times it doesn't work, DON'T INSIST ON GETTING THAT COLOR, just do what the AI can.
