Make Your Panels Big and Long
How to create the best viewing experience
You're making comics on a desktop. People read comics by scrolling on their phone. A panel that looks okay on desktop might be TOO SMALL on a mobile screen.
In two words: Make them BIG and LONG.

Small Panel: 400px
This is a close up on someone's eyes, a quick action, a hand opening a door, etc.
Square Panel: 600px
This is a square panel sitting in the middle of the phone screen.
3:4 Panel: 800px
Slightly longer.
Full Screen Panel: >1600px
These panels are very immersive and good for big moments.
