Let's dive into an example. Below is a storyboard and the corresponding generation. I used the @old-woman-thin-caucasian preset character.
Prompts: @old-woman-thin-caucasian preset prompts, profile view, angry, white suit.
Storyboard Type: Line_Art_Black_And_White, Storyboard Weight: 1, End Control Step: 1
Left is first generation. Right is after Upscale with ~0.3 variation strength. Try it out yourself!
Like the example above, if you have a line art and want the storyboard to closely follow the line art, this mode is great.
You can still use this mode, just tune down the storyboard weight and end control step. Or you can use Sketch_Black_And_White.
Turning down storyboard weight tells the AI to rely on the prompt and your character model more. Turning down end control step tells the AI to spend a few steps of the generation not using the storyboard, hence completing a more natural image.
Here I used this rough sketch. Prompts: @mateo-le-boi preset prompts, drinking from a white mug, eyes closed, sleep
Alternatively, with a messy sketch you can use Sketch_Black_And_white. In Sketch mode, it assumes your drawing is not good or complete.
(In this generation I erased some stuff on the sketch)
Often, sketch adds more volume and detail to the generation, because it only roughly follow your storyboard. Below sketch obviously adds more volume to the architecture when you just draw a simple strokes.
Prompt: church, marble stairs, gate, couple, wedding couple, blue sky with clouds.
Line_Art_From_Image example. Left is a photo I added to storyboard. Right is generation result. I was able to swap the color of the seats. Prompt: white car seats
Both modes allow you to input a photo into a storyboard. It extracts outlines from the photo and generates a new image, blinded to the original colors and only following the outlines. It's incredibly useful for and .
